The Invisalign system consists of clear aligners that are custom made to fit you perfectly from a 3D digital image of your mouth. Small, tooth colored bumps called attachments are adhered to the teeth to allow the aligners to snap onto the teeth and guide movements. Specific movements are built into each aligner as prescribed by your orthodontist. Aligners are changed on a regular basis to facilitate these movements over time.
Your initial appointment will consist of a full series of digital photographs and any digital x-rays as needed. You will then receive a thorough clinical examination by either of our highly qualified orthodontists, Dr. Cooney and Dr. Tyner. A full discussion and explanation of our findings, treatment options and alternatives will be presented. This appointment takes approximately one hour and is provided at no cost to you. During the initial examination for each patient we will address any questions you may have and cover the basics of orthodontic treatment. Members of our staff will be also able to discuss scheduling and financial arrangements with you.
Since everyone’s biology and dental situations vary, treatment times will be different for each patient. We will be able give you an estimated treatment time prescribed specifically for you during the initial screening appointment.

Some patients will qualify to use our AcceleDent Aura technology. With this device, tooth movement may be accelerated by approximately 40% without causing any underlying issues! AcceleDent Aura uses SoftPulse Technology™ to generate small vibrations, or micropulses through a mouthpiece used nightly to enhance the movements directed by the orthodontics, allowing for faster tooth movement.
All orthodontic patients are instructed to wear their clear retainers at night indefinitely. Sleeping with your retainers in at night will ensure a healthy bite and maintain the new position of your teeth as time goes on.
We are not a direct participator with insurance companies, though we do accept assignment of benefits if they are available through your plan. We offer many financial options in addition to any insurance assignment benefit, including lower down payments and customizable payment options. All financial options will be discussed and given to you at the initial consult.
